Opening Wednesday May 7th!
We look forward to welcoming you back to the 'new' Old Mill Inn from Wednesday May 7th. Initially, we will be serving dinner five nights a week, Wednesday through Sunday. We open at 4pm and our kitchen is open for dinner from 4pm-9pm. Our interior bar is open for drinks until 11pm.
Our deck and patio seating will open soon... these areas will be for drinks only.
Our reservation link will be active soon. Thank you for your patience as we get set up and ready to open. We will share on social media (Instagram & Facebook) when we our reservations open up.
In the meantime, here is a little about our history...
Upon returning from the war of 1812, enterprising farmer Samuel Cox got to work building what was then known as The Mill at Mattituck. It opened for business in 1820, milling grain for farmers from Riverhead to Southold.
If you’re reading this, chances are you’ve had a drink leaning against that original drive shaft still in place in front of the bar. Now, the building has been lovingly restored and its history preserved.
